How do you feel about this special day when people play jokes? Have you ever been caught up on pranks? What are the most unusual jokes you have invented? It's funny that I always remember about this day in March, but when April, 1 comes, I forget about it.
Do you like it when teachers have fun at the lessons?
I liked this Math teacher's idea:

ReplyDeleteHonestly, this April Fool's day was the most boring in my life. I do agree that usually we're more likely to anticipate for an event than actually celebrate it. Judging by the news in some social networks, a lot of people haven't been caught on any pranks! What's that happening? Is this holiday growing obsolete at least in Russia? I guess that it's only necessary to scratch the surface to figure out the true reason for that. People are quite tired and this holiday was the first day of new term. It couldn't have helped affecting the popularity of April Fool's Day. Nevertheless, my dad did play a joke with me maintaining the good old foreign tradition. Also, yesterday, I bumped into a really worthy prank for the holiday. Some students decided to act out the scenes from Harry Potter series and labelled each classroom according to the movie plot. So, the principal's office turned into Dumbledor's office, chemistry classroom was now called the room of potions and so on. It's not extremely funny but inventive, anyway. The ancient jokes about one's white back are annoying, aren't they?
Deep down, I really appreciate the lessons when our teachers joke. There isn't so much to do with wasting time in the class for our benefits but more to do with perceiving a really special atmosphere. It happens rarely but it's worth it!
Thank you again for amusing us. The video made my day!
