The long-awaited summer holidays are just round the corner and it's time to think about the results of our work during the year. Let's share your ideas about the most significant events in your school life, especially about your English language studies.
Usually, it's difficult to imagine how one is going to overcome a new school year. But in reality, each year goes away at lightening speed and at the end of a year it seems unbelievable that it's over.
ReplyDeleteThis year for me is just the same. I feel like it's September now and dull boring nine months are awaiting me. Honestly, it's impossible to count everything what has happened to me: olympiad preparations, the regional olympiad, my winter tour, lots of projects, a few exams,a totally new curriculum, new classmates... The list of changes and events is endless. But all the events and new experience are essential because something new and helpful may be gained. In my case, I've got unsurpassable experience while working on the olympiad stuff: I've learnt that it's possible to manage any situation because I know the basis of each area of the olympiad. Besides, all the projects which had been arranged, made me more confident with higher self-esteem. I also want to point out that no progress can be achieved if there are no extra sources. Fortunately, we're given a brilliant chance to use English Central, Edmodo, English Learning community to enrich and improve our results. I just wish I could use these sources more often.
All in all, this year was definitely useful, it was the last step before a new adult-like life and class 11. The idea of coming state exams gives me the creeps, but I hope that the same persistant purposeful work with regular attendance at extra lessons, consuming all possible knowledge and just a desire will help me to do my best next year!
This year was unusual and also very interesting. Our trip to London was informative, I learned a lot new things. What about my results, I do not think they're good. I will try more in the following year. And I hope that next year will be much better.
ReplyDeleteAt the end of each year it's time when we should evaluate our results and make certain conclusions for ourselves.
ReplyDeleteThis year was really productive for me, but not so successful as I wanted. Work in this year was the same as in the previous year: we prepared projects, wrote dictations, made presentations and other activities.
But nevertheless, this year was very useful for me. I considered my mistakes and I will try to avoid them next year.
Thanks for your comment. But your name is missing, I'll have to delete your post :(
DeleteThis year was very interesting. Because we prepared good and great projects. We wrote a very funny expositions, learned exciting dialogues, wrote compositions on important topics. What about my results, they're not bad. But I'll work harder next year. And I hope that next year will be even better.
ReplyDeleteI think that school year was better for me than the last years. It was more interesting and unusual because we had nice projects and interesting topics. For example we had presentation about healthy lifestyle, sights of London and America. I think I've got a lot of new knowledge but I think my result can be better.
ReplyDeleteThis school year was very interesting and quite difficult for me. I got much new knowledge and became cleverer than I was last year (in class 7). Our London trip that was in March was very useful for me, for my knowledge. I saw a lot of famous sight there and learnt new iformation about them; practised my English speech. Speaking about my results, I think they are not bad, but next year I'm going to work harder.
ReplyDeleteI think this school year was very intresting. I knew a lot of new grammars words and different interesting things about English and American customs and traditions. In this school year we had prepared different interesting projects. I think I became cleverer. I think my results not so bad.I'm very lazy but I will work hard next year.
ReplyDeleteI think this school year was interesting. I learned a lot about England and America. This year I missed a lot of work and missed a lot of new information, which I now regret. Hopefully, I'll try next year and I will know better English.
ReplyDeleteI strongly believe that this school year was wonderful and full od different exciting events. Our trip to London was just marvelous! When you communicate with your teachers and classmates away from school, you learn a lot of interesting things about them. Furthermore, you inrich your knowledge about culture, customs and traditions of the country you travel to. Speaking about my resuls, I think they aren`t bad this year: I won the English Contest in November. But I think that it isn`t my best. I should try more and more next year! Practice makes perfect, you know!
